As I mentioned in the Portland post, we specifically planned our travel route for this Adventure around the World Domination Summit. For years we have been wanting to attend this event, but have never been able to make it happen because of the timing and photographing weddings! This year, we were making it happen!
We arrived in Portland a few days early to catch a few of the extra sessions they offered! Ryan went to Jonathan Field’s session and I went to a session on becoming an author and getting published!
A few days before WDS, we learned that we were chosen to share our story on the main stage! Wowzers! That meant that we were speaking in front of over 3,000 people! Did I mention I have a fear of Public Speaking!?!? ;) Ohh well- it was happening! And what an incredibly AMAZING opportunity! This is what the run through looked like the day before.
Opening night of the Wold Domination Summit! Did we mention Portland is weird?!? ;) And awesome at the same time! ;) Thanks to our friends Tera and Wes and their AMAZING team at Armosa Studios for these AMAZING photos of the conference!
KID PRESIDENT!!! ;) Yes! So amazing!
We broke the world record for the most people putting on lipstick at one time!
This is minutes before we went on stage and I could not stop shaking!!!! Thank goodness for Ryan in my life! ;)
We shared our Amazing Marriage Adventure story among a community of people who think that renting your home for a year and buying an RV to travel to all 50 States is completely NORMAL! ;) It was kind of awesome to know that we did not have to explain ourselves… there is a shared passion for adventure, community, and service that warms our hearts! Sharing our story in 2 minutes on a stage in front of 3,000 people was so nerve racking, but probably one of my favorite moments of 2015! Fear of public speaking conquered! ;)
These two! Tera and Wes (of Armosa Studios and so much more!)! Love them!!!! You may remember them from Alabama! ;) It was so great to see them again in Portland!
